PELUM Holds a Policy Engagement Meeting with Members of Parliament

PELUM  Zambia in collaboration with the Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in Southern Africa recently interacted with 23 Members of Parliament from the Committee on Agriculture, Lands and Natural Resources as well as the Health Community and Social Services with the aim of sharing knowledge and information on Ecological Organic Agriculture and policy needs to support the agriculture system. The law makers through the chairperson for the committee on Agriculture , Lands and Natural Resources Honourable Kasauta Michelo called for more interactions adding that issues related to agriculture were important to the people of Zambia.
