PELUM Zambia has donated a water tank to Tuswayane women’s club in Chief Nyampande’s chiefdom in Choma District to support their organic gardening. Officiating at the handover ceremony, Choma District Commissioner Sikaleya Gamela called on the members of the group to utilize the opportunity for food, nutrition and income security. He urged the community to safeguard the donation as it was an asset to the community. He thanked PELUM for the donation adding that the organisation should continue complimenting government’s efforts through similar donations.<\/p>\n
