About 60 smallholder farmers participate in the Ecological Organic Agriculture Knowledge Assessment

About 60 small holder farmers from Chief  Mumbi in Petauke District, Chief Nzamane  in Chipata District and chief Zumwanda  of Lumezi Districts of Eastern and Muchinga provinces respectively participated in the needs assessment exercise aimed at identifying their knowledge gaps in Ecological Organic Agriculture(EOA).  PELUM under the Knowledge Hub for Organic Agriculture in Southern Africa project conducted the assessment.

Organisation Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Kenneth Zulu said the assessment will inform the design of the trainings which are meant to share knowledge and information in EOA with the farmers.
